Bullet Jewelry Bracelets, My Next Project

It has been a long winter, and I have had little time to work on my Bullet Jewelry.  I have had some great ideas on items I plan to make for spring.  I am thinking about selling some of the cuff bracelets that I have seen other make with the 357 Magnum Bullet Slices.  Here is a picture of what they look like:

My idea is to put Bullet Slices and Swarovski Crystals completely around the bracelet.  I think I can get about 18-20 bullet slices and crystals on the cuff and I think it will look incredible.  Here is a picture of the 357 magnum slices that I have been buying:

They cost $27.99 for a package of 20.  I know this is expensive especially because I am basically using an entire package of bullet slices on a single bracelet.  I think it is worth it not only because the 357 Magnum is a very popular pistol, but because the ammunition for this gun is really expensive.  (I would know, my Husband has one).  I think I can sell this bracelet at one of my shows for $90.

I think the E6000 Glue that I have been using for the Bullet Jewelry Earrings that I made last year will work just fine but I think that I am going to use some fine sandpaper to scuff up the metal cuff before I glue the slices on.  My husband told me that this would help with the glue holding because it would add more surface area that the glue can grip.

I will post pictures of this project after I finish it.  My shows were such a success last year with the Bullet Jewelry earrings and pendants that I made that I am hoping to add a couple of high dollar pieces like this to my inventory.

Thanks for looking and good luck with your own projects
